Barbuda

Barbuda is north of Antigua and here you can find long deserted sand beaches. Our fist stop was Coral Group Bay. We edged in slowly between coral reefs and dropped anchor in a few metres. This was our least favourite stop on the island. The next day we headed to a long sandy beach off Codrington lagoon. We visited the frigate bird colony, more than 5000 birds living in the mangrove swamps.
Our favourite spot on the island was Cocoa beach, here we saw a seaplane land on the water between the beach and anchored boats. We saw dolphins on the way back to Antigua.
